You all might have seen the latest TVC running at various channels about Tata DOCOMO’s Unlimited 850 Photon Plan. So here we are again with our Full Report (Fair Usage Policy, Hidden Charges etc) on the latest Unlimited Plan. As seen on TV, this new offer/plan is applicable on Tata Docomo Photon Max, Photon Plus and Photon 3G.
Before we tell you more about this offer/plan, we should tell you some thing about Tata DOCOMO Photon. Tata Docomo offers High Speed Data Service to both CDMA and GSM customers, so as you know Tata Photon 3G is for GSM customers only. Both the rest of Photon, the MAX and the PLUS are for CDMA customers. Tata Photon Plus can offer download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps where as Tata Photon MAX can deliver double speeds i.e. 6.2 Mbps Downlink.
Starting with Tata Photon 3G Unlimited 850 Plan
As we know 3G services are limited to certain circles, Tata Photon 3G is available in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh (West). As such there is no TRUE Unlimited Plan 3G Plan being offered by Tata Docomo. Here are the Tata Photon 3G Unlimited Plans:

Tata Photon Plus 850 Unlimited Plan
Just like Photon 3G, there is no such plan as being advertised on all major channels (World Cup Twenty20). Tata Docomo Photon Plus offers 6GB Data at 3.6 Mbps at Rs. 950 Monthly Rental with a cash back of Rs. 100 each month for 13 months. Speed after 6GB would be capped at just 153.6Kbps till infinity.

Lastly, we would talk about Tata Photon Max 850 Unlimited Plan. Like the previous 2 tricks, Tata Docomo tried to use the same here too showing Unlimited at just Rs. 850 where no such TRULY Unlimited Plan exists. Since Tata Docomo MAX offers 6.2Mbps Speeds, there are just 2 Unlimited Plan and no one comes at Rs. 850 Monthly Rental. Also Tata Docomo Photon MAX is available at limited cities only unlike Photon Plus or Photon 3G.

The First Plan comes with Rs. 1000 Rental (No Cash Back Here) and offers 3GB Data at high speed which is reduced to 153.6 Kbps after 3G is consumed.
