Vodafone, the Second largest Telecom Operator in India, has expanded its 3G Service in the state of Haryana by launching it in the towns of Karnal and Kurukshetra. Vodafone 3G Services were first introduced in Panipat and Ambala in Haryana. Also Vodafone would be rolled out in the remaining cities in Haryana soon.
Speaking on the occasion, Ishmeet Singh, COO, Haryana, Vodafone Essar Ltd said, “Our 3G Services will change the way our customers communicate and experience the advantage of adding power of mobility to the internet.”
Now Vodafone Prepaid as well as Postpaid customers would be able to enjoy host of 3G services like high speed Internet with speeds of 21.1 Mbps, video calling, live streaming videos, mobile tv and many more such services. Also Vodafone customers can enjoy exclusive access to retransmission of live IPL matches and streaming of entertainment and other content on their compatible mobile devices.
To activate the 3G service on Vodafone Mobile subscribers need to send a SMS ACT 3G to 111.
Mobile Internet Plans start from Rs 100 for postpaid and Rs 103 for prepaid subscribers and offers 100 MB of free data usage. The Mobile Broadband Plans starts from Rs 653 and goes up to Rs 6253 where customers can get data usage of 1GB & 5GB respectively.
