Delhi Airport Express, one of the most ambitious projects of Delhi Metro, has got the vital Mobile connectivity on its network of 23 Kms. Delhi Airport Express is the only Metro Line that links Indira Gandhi International Airport with New Delhi Railways station in Delhi, thereby connecting to almost all of Delhi.
Till now only Reliance customers were able to use their mobile phone in Delhi Airport Express but now customers of all major operators will be able to use their mobile in its entire stretch.
Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel & Idea will now offers the complete bouquet of services at all stations and along its complete route to the customers. Unlike other Metro Lines where the operators have deployed their infrastructure to offer Mobile Service, in this particular line the telecom infrastructure has been put in place by Reliance and offered to other operators.
The other operator are expected to join the party soon.
