Pre order for the most awaited smart phone, the iPhone 5 have started at various online retailers and some of the Indian carriers as well. iPhone 5 is expected to be launched in India on 2nd November, 2012 (Friday) starting at a price of Rs. 45,500 for 16GB model and above. Unlike the past, Apple has tied up with Redington and Ingram Micro for sales and distribution of the product.
As far as pricing of the iPhone 5 is concerned, it is starting at the same price point where the iPhone 4S was launched last year. You can get a 16GB model for Rs. 45,500, a 32GB model would cost you Rs. 52,500 and finally the 64GB model would you lighter by Rs. 59,500.
You can pre order the iPhone 5 at various online stores like Saholic, Infibeam and Airtel Shop as well. Aircel is another carrier that has updated its website stating the iPhone is coming soon on its network. Both Airtel and Aircel are expected to launch iPhone 5 with some special plans soon (no reverse bundling tough).
