BSNL revises 2 Prepaid Plans, Student Special & Roam Free to cost more now

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is on a tariff hike spree, just a few days ago it announced cut in Free Data Usage under 2G GPRS Packs and now 2 famous Prepaid Plan price has been increased. BSNL has decided to revise the price of the Student Special and Roam Free Plan starting with 1st October, 2012.

BSNL Student Special Plan
BSNL’s plan launched especially for the student fraternity has now been revised and would now cost 2.5 times the original cost. Along with the price revision, you would get more Freebies and validity. Earlier it used to cost just Rs. 40 for 30 days, the same would now cost Rs. 97 and would have a validity of 180 days.

BSNL Roam Free Plan
BSNL announced the Roam Free Plan at the start of this year with a price tag of Rs. 150. The same without any change in Freebies etc have now been revised to Rs. 199 and would offer double validity now. It is indeed a welcome move as now you would have to shell out just Rs. 400 for the whole year to enjoy Roam Free Plan. Earlier you would have to pay Rs. 600 (Rs. 150 X 4) to enjoy the same.

All these changes would come into force from 1st October, 2012 only. If you are on any of these plan, just wait for few days and enjoy extended validity by paying just premium over the original price.
