Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is set to introduce 3 new EVDO Prepaid Packs offering Limited Data Usage for the Southern States of India only. Starting from Rs. 170, these packs offers Limited Data with a validity of 30 days in all new Packs.
All the 3 new Packs would be introduced in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu & Chennai only. The first Packs priced at Rs. 170 offers 500 MB Data for 30 days. Similarly, the other packs priced at Rs. 285 offers 1GB data for 30 days and the last one priced at Rs. 285 offers 2.5GB data for 30 days too.
The charges after you consume your limit are like 10p/100Kb for peak hours & 5p/100Kb for off peak hours. BSNL also offers Unlimited EVDO Plans priced at Rs. 750 that offer UNLIMITED DATA Usage across India (Roaming as well) for 30 days. BSNL EVDO Data Card is available for Rs. 1199 and can deliver speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps.
The above tariff will be implemented with effect from 22.05.2012.
