Airtel has finally announced the launch of its 4G High Speed Broadband Services in the capital city of Bengaluru in Karnataka. The service in Bengaluru was launched by Mr. D. V. Sadananda Gowda, Chief Minister of Karnataka. This launch comes days after the launch of the same services in Kolkata last month. Airtel is expected to launch its 4G services in Chandigarh & Pune soon.
To experience this lighting fast broadband, you need have a dongle and Airtel’s 4G Dongle comes for Rs. 7999. You can also opt for Indoor CPE with Wi-Fi which has a MRP of Rs. 7750. As a promotional Cash back offer, Airtel will give monthly discount on its plans on purchase of Dongle/CPE, thus making the effective cost of such Dongle/CPE to almost zero.
Also a new Plan has been introduced here apart from the regular (same) plan launched in Kolkata last month. The new Break Free Ultimate Plan offers 30GB of Data at Super Fast 4G Speeds, after which the speed goes down to 128Kbps. The new Plan comes for both Prepaid & Postpaid (Tax Extra) customers at Rs. 2,999.
