Samsung brings 2 more smartphones to India – the Galaxy S Advance & the Galaxy Pocket

Samsung has today announced the launch of 2 new Smartphones in the country, the Galaxy S Advance & the Galaxy Pocket. The Samsung Galaxy S Advance was announced in late Jaunuary this year & Galaxy Pocket was unveiled in early last month only.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance has priced at Rs. 26,900 & is expected to available at less than Rs. 25,000. This new smartphone features 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor, 4.0 inch WVGA (480×800) Super AMOLED display, 5 Megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash at the back & a 1.3 Megapixel Camera in front, 1500 mAh battery and external memory support of upto 32GB. On connectivity front, it supports HSPA 14.4Mbps data connectivity. Also it has Bluetooth V3.0, USB 2.0 & Wi-Fi support as well.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket on the other is a new pocket friendly type of smartphone for the starters priced at Rs. 8150 . It has features similar to Galaxy Y with a difference in screen size, internal memory, dimensions & network connectivity only. It features 832MHz Processor, 2.8” QVGA (240×320) TN LCD, 2 Megapixel Fixed Focus Camera, 3GB internal memory, Standard Li-on 1200 mAh battery among other features.
