Reliance Communications, today announced the launch of its 3G Services in the State of Jammu & Kashmir with the launch of 3G Mobile & Data Services in Srinagar. Now Reliance Comm becomes the first Private Operator to bring 3G in the State.This comes after the launch of 3G services by RCom in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Punjab and Rajasthan last year.
“Launching of 3G capabilities in Kashmir is an integral part of our Vision 2015 of creating a “Wirefree India” built upon the affordable 3G-for-all platform,” RCom’s J&K Circle Head — Wireless Business, Ataul Haque, said. RCom has partnered with organisations like Nokia for devices, Facebook, Nokia and Ericsson for applications, Universal Music for content and Motricity for its web portal under its 3G initiative.

How to access Mobile TV on Reliance 3G
You can access Mobile TV through two modes:
1. Handset – There are 3 easy ways of accessing Mobile TV through your handset:
SMS – SMS keywords such as MTV, MobileTV, VOD, VideoOnDemand, RTV or Reliance TV to 55447 and find out if your handset has its exclusive Mobile TV client available.
If your handset has a client, you will receive a link that will prompt you to download your client and you can watch streaming TV.
USSD – You can also download client by dialing *123*555# on your handset and then press the call button. You will then receive a link to download your client.
Directly from the WAP portal – If your handset does not support an exclusive client, you can click on the Mobile TV link on the WAP portal and directly watch Mobile TV.
2. Data card – Click on the Mobile TV link on the dialer landing page to access Mobile TV via data card.
