We have seen some good quality hardware in the form of Keyboards, Mouse etc from the Microsoft and now finally the time has come to experience some thing even better. Ending months of speculatins and rumours, Microsoft has finally unveiled their Window 8 tablet at an event in Los Angeles, USA. Microsoft has named its tablet “Surface” which is a 10.6 Inch with Gorilla Glass Protection. What i liked about the tablet is its Logo at the center, its looking really good.
Well talking more about its specs, it will come in 2 avatars, one with Windows 8 Pro powered by Intel’s 22nm Ivy Bridge chipset and the other with Windows RT powered by an ARM chipset. The Microsoft Surface with Windows RT wieghs only 676 grams and is 9.3 mm thin with 10.6” ClearType HD Display, USB 2.0, Micro HD Video, 2×2 MIMO antennae for better connectivity and would come in 2 variants – 32GB and 64GB.
The other Surface with Windows Pro is coming with the same 10.6” ClearType Full HD Display but is a little heavier at 903 grams and and thicker as well at 13.5mm. Along with these, it will be having microSDXC, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort Video, 2×2 MIMO antennae (for better connectivity) and it will be having more space with 64GB and 128GB models. This version will also be coming with Pen with Palm Block – a pen that magnetizes to the body of the tablet.

Both the tablets also have Front & Back Camera but the resolution is still unkown. Also both of them are coming with VaporMg Case & built in Kick-Stand and 2 covers – Touch Cover & Type Cover.
