Vodafone India has announced new Roaming Call Rates for its customers in Assam & North East. All Vodafone subscribers (Prepaid & Postpaid) in Assam & North East who are on roaming between Assam & North East will enjoy this new roaming tariff. All incoming calls will be free and all outgoing local & STD calls will be charged at 70p/min. This benefit will be applicable for both Prepaid & Postpaid Vodafone Assam subscribers roaming in North East and all North East subscribers roaming in Assam.

The new roaming tariff is by default and hence all new and old Vodafone subscribers will enjoy this benefit at no additional cost. The national roaming tariff charges will be applicable and remains same as earlier.
Vodafone subscribers in Assam & North East who are already enjoying low roaming tariffs (75p/min outgoing call tariff or are under per second pulse roaming tariff) with their prepaid & postpaid plans will not get the new outgoing call benefit. The incoming charges for such customers within Assam & North East will however be free in this case.
