Videocon Mobile Services has launched 2 new Minute Pack and a new Plan Voucher for its customers in Punjab circle. The 2 new Minute Packs offer BENEFITS every month for 3 months thereby reducing the effective call rate. However, the new Plan Voucher does not offer anything that we can call more than ordinary.

Of the 2 new Minute Packs launched, One is for STD Calls and the other is exclusively for Local Calls. The Local Minute Pack has been priced for Rs. 117 and it offer 200 Local Mobile Minutes monthly for 3 Months. So the effective Per Minute Cost over the period comes out to be 19p only (approx.).

Similarly the National Minute Pack comes for Rs. 179 and offers 200 All India Mobile Minutes monthly for 3 Months. Here too the effective cost of Per Minute STD calling is just 29p (approx.)

The Plan Voucher introduced in the state offer flat pulse rate of 1 sec and charge of 1.2p per pulse. It has been priced at Rs. 89 and comes with tariff validity of 365 days. However, it do offer some Freebies such as

• 15 Free Local Mobile min to any other network everyday for 30 days.
