TataCliq & Meizu come together to launch M5 in India

Tata’s ecommerce portal, TataCliq.com has joined hands with Meizu to launch its latest smartphone in India, the Meizu M5. Priced at Rs. 10,990, the Meizu M5 will be exclusively available on TataCliq.com only. Meizu had launched the M5 a couple of months back in China and in India both blue & gold color variants would be available.

Sporting a Polycarbonate Unibody design, Meizu M5 is powered by 64 bit Quad Core MediaTek MT6750 chipset, its graphic duties are performed by Mali T860 GPU unit and its has 5.2 Inch Full HD (1080p) IPS Display with 2.5D glass panel.

Since Meizu has brought only the 32 gigs variant in Indian market, you will find 3 GB RAM on the device and a hybrid SIM Card slot that supports either a Nano SIM or a memory card to expand the internal storage up to 128 GB. Meizu has its very own layering on Android popularly known as Flyme OS and M5 comes pre-loaded with Flyme OS 5.0 on Android M.

On connectivity front, it is a 4G enabled smart phone covering almost all the 4G bands and yes it will work on Reliance Jio as well. There is no mention of VoLTE feature as such but i hope it will have the same for sure. Also it has WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS & Glonass to help you stay connected and a 3070 mAh battery to keep it running.

For photography enthusiasts, Meizu M5 comes with a 13 MP rear camera with dual tone flash and a large ƒ/2.2 aperture and on front, it has a 5MP camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture for better low light results. It also comes with an advanced FotoNation 2.0 intelligent beautification feature which is embedded in combination with the already existing Face AE – facial exposure strengthening technology.
