Sony Mobile announces Xperia GX & Xperia SX – LTE enabled Dual Core smartphones

Sony Mobile has today announced 2 new Xperia Android smart phones, the Xperia SX and Xperia GX specifically designed for the Japanese market. Both the new smart phones are LTE enabled supporting speed of up to 75Mbps, have Dual Core 1.5GHz processor, Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine for sharper picture clarity & plenty more. the new Xperia GX & Xperia SX joins the other Japan exclusive Xperia NX and Xperia acro HD smartphones.

Both these smart phones also comes preloaded with 3 new Media Apps by Sony, the Walkman, the Album & the Movies. The Walkman app enhances your whole music listening experience by integrating clear stereo, clear bass, VPT surround sound, manual equalizer and xLOUD technologies.

The Album app helps to view photos & video at amazingly fast speeds and lets you share your content on facebook & other online albums. The Movies app streamlines the playback and viewing of movies with intelligent database search to discover more info about the movie.

Sony Xperia GX sports a 4.6 Inch Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 1.5GHz Dual Core processor, 16GB internal memory, 13MP camera with Sony Exmor R for mobile, HD video recording, and Sony technology to take 3D panoramic images, 1700mAh battery, Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich. It will be available in 2 colors – White & Black.

The Sony Xperia SX weighs only 95g & features 3.7” Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 1.5GHz Dual Core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 8MP camera with Sony Exmor R for mobile, HD video recording, Japanese specific features such as infrared port data exchange, mobile wallet and mobile TV, Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It will also be available in Black and White.

As of now both these smartphones will be reach the Japanese market in the Summer. World availability might be announced thereafter.
