Samsung expands its Dual SIM Smartphone range, launches Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite

Samsung has today announced the launch of 2 new Dual Sim Android smart phone in India, the Galaxy S Duos and the Galaxy Y Duos Lite. Just a couple of days ago, we spotted the Galaxy Y Duos Lite on some Indian retailers categorized as coming soon. Also the Galaxy S Duos was announced just late last month only. Samsung has priced both the products handsomely, the Galaxy S Duos is priced at just Rs. 17,990 and the Galaxy Y Duos Lite is priced at Rs. 6,990 only.

First, Samsung Galaxy S Duos
Samsung Galaxy S Duos is a 4 Inch Android Ice Cream Sandwich loaded Dual Sim with Dual Active feature smart phone. Other specs include 1Ghz Processor, 768MB RAM and Dual Camera. Here are the Full Features of Samsung Galaxy S Duos:

Samsung Galaxy S Duos is launched with a price tag of Rs. 17,990 but it would be able for less in the comig few days. Samsung Galaxy S Duos would compete directly with HTC Desire V (Priced more than Rs. 20,000) but since Samsung has priced it perfectly, it seems that half the battler is already won.

Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite
Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite is a DUAL SIM cousin of the already launched Galaxy Pocket handset and is named as Galaxy Pocket in some of the markets (outside India). Samsung has positioned it as “Mera Pehla Smartphone” with a price tag of just Rs. 6,990. Like Galaxy S Duos, this smart phone too comes with Dual Active feature that does not let you miss any call. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite is already on Pre Order on the Samsung India eStore for Rs. 1000. It would compete with Dual Sim Android smart phone from Indian Handset manufactures like Micromax, Karbonn, Intex etc.
