Samsung has announced that it has sold about 30 million Galaxy S III and about 3 million Galaxy Note II smart phones. To achieve this amazing feat, the Galaxy S III too about 5 months (157 days to be precise) and the Galaxy Note II took just 30 days to surpass the 3 Million Units mark.

Samsung Galaxy S III was announced at an event in London on May 05th this year only. If you compare the Galaxy S III’s achievement with its predecessor, the Galaxy S2, you would be surprised to know that in the similar period (150 days), Samsung sold just 10 million units of the Galaxy S2.

So don’t be surprised if you see more such record being broken by the current Samsung flagship Android device. Samsung has also released an infographics depicting the same same sales story.

Now talking about the Galaxy Note II, Samsung has announced that its has sold about 3 million unit of the Galaxy Note II in about 37 days from its launch. Just like the Samsung Galaxy S III, Note II too has achieved this feat in much lesser time as compared to the original Galaxy Note. Samsung further announced that it was able to sell 3 million units of Galaxy Note in about 3 months.

Just to remind a little bit about the Galaxy Note II, Samsung announced this amazing phablet in August this year only at IFA Berlin and launched the same in India a month later on 27th September for about Rs. 39,900. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features 5.5 Inch HD Super AMOLED Capacitive Touch Display, 1.6 GHz Quad Core Exynos Processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Full HD 1080p Playback & Recording, 8MP Primary Camera with a 1.9MP Front Camera and much much more.
