Samsung announces the Galaxy S4 Zoom, the Camera Smartphone

Samsung has announced its first camera embedded smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. The highlight of the smartphone is its camera that comes with 10x Optical Zoom, 16 MegaPixel CMOS Sensor, OIS and Xenon Flash. Style wise is looks like a brother of the Samsung’s flagship model, the Galaxy S4 having almost identical looks with a smaller body.

Talking about its specs apart from its camera, the Galaxy S4 Zoom packs 4.3 Inch qHD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1.5GHz Dual-Core Processor, latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 3G & LTE connectivity depending upon the market, standard connectivity features like WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS with GLONASS, 8GB Internal memory, microSD slot (up to 64GB) and 1.5GB RAM and not to forget 2,330mAh battery.

Now coming back to its camera, its packs a 16 Mega pixel rear camera with 10x Optical Zoom and enhanced SMART Modes, OIS, 24-240mm, F3.1-F6.3 and a 1.9 MP Front Camera for video calling and more. The compact GALAXY S4 zoom’s best-in-class 10x Optical Zoom and 16MP BSI CMOS Sensor lets you capture beautiful images from far away or up close and personal, in all light conditions, without having to carry heavy camera gear around with you. Furthermore, the built-in Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) helps keep the camera perfectly still even when you’re not, reducing blur and stabilizing the image while zoomed in for high-quality photos and video.

As of now, the pricing and availability details of this camera smartphone are not revealed by Samsung.
