MTNL has revised the tariffs for its VDSL Broadband plan named, VDSL Combo  4999 in Mumbai and Delhi telecom circles. This plan offers download speed ranging between 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps. The monthly charges are Rs. 4,999 and the download limit has been revised from 20 Gb per month to 50 Gb now. Also,the additional data charges of 20 paise per MB have been revised to 10 paise per MB for 51 GB upto 120 GB, and 5 paise per MB beyond 120 GB usage. The recent recommendations by TRAI will bring in the much awaited MVNO model in the Indian Telecom Space and make it more interesting. In its Telecom Infrastructure Policy recommendations, TRAI have advocated grant of legal status to ‘virtual’ mobile operators or MVNOs.
