MTS India, the telecom joint venture between Sistema and Shyam Group, has revised its Postpaid MBlaze Tariffs in Rajasthan circle. The hike is effective June, 2015 and it as as much as 30%. MTS has been under pressure as it is reporting losses continuously one quarter after another and the losses might have lead to this hike.
Coming back to the news, the lowest priced MBlaze Postpaid Plan @ Rs. 550 will now be offered to new customers at Rs. 599 offering the same 10 GB Data (5 GB for Day and 5 GB for Night). The next hike is in Rs. 700 Postpaid Plan, the same is now available for Rs. 799 and offers the same 14 GB Data (7 GB for Day and 7 GB for Night).
Despite the hike, the MBlaze Postpaid Rs. 999 Plan has remained untouched and offers the same 24 GB Data (12 GB for Day and 12 GB for Night). However, the MBlaze Postpaid Rs. 1199 and MBlaze Postpaid Rs. 1499 Plans has been withdrawn with immediate effect. To counter the High Data users, a new Plan has been launched at Rs. 1999 that offers 30 GB Data without any distinction between Day or Night Data. 3. Limited Plans – Additional charges (beyond Limit) & Roaming usage charges @ 3p per 100Kb
4. MTS home circles are Delhi, Rajasthan, Kolkata, Rest of West Bengal, Gujarat, UP(W), Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Kerala. Services outside these circles will be treated as roaming circles. All usage while roaming will be charged at 3 Paisa per 100 KB.
