Meet Motorola Defy PRO – First Rugged Android QWERTY Smartphone

Motorola has launched a new Android Smart phone under its famous Defy Series with Full QWERTY Keypad, the Defy PRO. Motorola Defy PRO is the first rugged QWERTY smart phone from the company featuring 2.7 Inch Capacitive touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass.

As of now the phone has been launched on Brazil only and if launched in India, it will directly compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Y Pro Duos and the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Chat.

Tough not much is known about this phone as of now, but some of it features are Single Core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S1 Processor with Adrena 200 Graphics Unit, Android Gingerbread, 5MP Camera with LED Flash and Auto-Focus at the back, a front VGA Camera for Video Calling, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro USB, Bluetooth, 2GB Internal Memory, 32GB External Memory support and most importantly Water and Dust Proof.

When it will be launched in India is not known but at these specs it should be launched for around Rs. 12k-13k only.
