Mercury launches mTAB Star, 7 Inch Voice calling enabled 3G tablet

Mercury, the famous computer peripherals manufacturer, has today launched a 7 Inch 3G Voice Calling tablet, the mTAB Star. Mercury mTAB Star features a 7 inch Display with standard 1024 x 600 resolution.

On the software front, it comes pre-loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Further it has Dual Core 1.0 Ghz Processor MediaTek MTK 6577 processor, 512MB, 4GB Internal Storage with microSD card support up to 32GB. mTab Star has a 2MP Primary Camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera for video calling, standard connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS etc.

The Mercury mTAB Star is a 3G tablet with a inbuilt 3G Module with SIM slot allowing internet access anywhere. It also supports Adobe Flash 11.1, has a built in FM Speaker with Mic and packs a 3000 mAh battery.

As of now, the price of this new tablet has not been announced. It is expected to be available in the beginning of next month i.e. September and would come with 1 year of standard warranty.
