LG is all set to launch the only remaining Optimus L Series smartphone in India, the Optimus L5. We have found it listed at The Mobile Store (TMS) and Flipkart as well. TMS is has been priced at Rs. 12,499 but on Flipkart it is still listed under coming soon tag.
Announced way back at MWC in February this year, the other L series smart phones – Optimus L3 and Optimus L7 have already made it to the markets in India. As of now there is no official announcement about its launch but we are expecting some news very soon.
LG Optimus L5 launching in India is a DUAL SIM smart phone (as announced in June) and is powered by a generation old 800Mhz Qualcomm’s MSM7225A Chipset. Tough it is coming loaded with Ice Cream Sandwich and has 4 Inch HVGA Capacitive Touch Display, 3G Support HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, 512MB RAM, 2.65 GB Internal Memory, expandable Memory Support of up to 32GB, 5MP Auto-Focus Camera with LED Flash at the back and 1500 mAh battery.
