Karbonn has today officially announced that its newly launched 7 Inch Tablet that was available with Ice Cream Sandwich on board would now be available with Android Jelly Bean by default. All the new units of the Smart Tab 1 would be delivered with Android Jelly Bean loaded by the factory. One can book the India’ first Jelly Bean tablet on Karbonn”s website.
Launched just a couple of weeks ago in July, this tablet is priced at Rs. 6,990 only. Featuring a 7 Inch 5 Point Multi Capacitive Touch Display, it is powered by 1.2 Ghz X-Burst Single Core Processor, 2MP Camera and more. You can check more features here.
Also the company announced that latest update of Android Jelly Bean for the existing customers would be rolled out soon.
Android Jelly Bean was announced with the launch of Google Nexus 7 in late June this year only and Karbonn has now become one of the first manufacturers across the world to roll out Jelly Bean Update for its products.
As of now, you can buy book the tablet on Karbonn’s website or you can get it for Rs. 6,590 on Adexmart (with ICS). Also other retailers like Flipkart, BuyThePrice are also selling the tablet.
