Its ShowTime : Google Nexus now available in 3 Sizes as Google announces Android 4.2 powered Nexus 10, upgraded Nexus 7 and LG Nexus 4

Google was holding an event to announce the next series of Nexus devices but unfortunately the event was called off due to the Hurricane Sandy that has by now taken many lives on the East Coast of the USA. But without holding more, Google yesterday announced 3 Nexus Devices with new Android 4.2 – LG Nexus 4, 10 Inch Samsung Nexus 10 tablet and an upgraded Nexus 7. All three Nexus devices now comes pre loaded with the new Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean only) that many expected to be called Key Lime Prime. In Google words, “A Nexus device is much more than simply a phone or tablet. It’s your connection to the best of Google—all of your stuff and entertainment, everywhere you go with no hassle.”

Starting with the LG Nexus 4, Google this time joined hands with LG to announce the next Nexus smart phone unlike in the past when it had launched Google Nexus smart phone with Samsung. Moving ahead, LG Nexus 4 comes with new & improved Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is priced very very attractively starting at just $299 for 8GB version and $349 for the 16GB version.

Starting November 13th, the LG Nexus 4 will be available in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia via Google Play. T-Mobile USA would also launch the Nexus 4 on its network with $199 contract for 2 years. As per the official LG Press Release, offline availability would start by November end for countries in Europe, Central/South Americas, Asia, CIS and the Middle East.

Thanks to tons of leaks and rumours in the past couple of weeks, LG Nexus 4’s specification is already out. LG Nexus 4 features 1.5Ghz Quad Core Processor, 4.7 Inch True HD Display, 8 MP Rear Camera, 2GB RAM and much more. Here are the detailed specs and features of LG Nexus 4:

LG Nexus 4 is expected to reach Indian shores by November end only and looking at attractive pricing across the world, it is expected to be priced somewhere near Rs. 20,000 only.

Next is 10 Inch Nexus Tablet, the Google Nexus 10. Google and Samsung together built this tablet to take on the Apple’s leader ship in 10 Inch tablet segment with iPad. In the Google words, “The newest tablet from Google and Samsung’s joint efforts, Nexus 10, is a powerful device that marries Samsung’s best-in-class hardware, the latest version of Android—4.2 Jelly Bean, and the best of Google.”

Google Nexus 10 comes with a 10 Inch WQXGA Display that supports 2560 X 1600 pixels resolution at 300ppi, the highest in the world. Also it comes with Android 4.2 and 1.7 GHz A15 dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 5 MP front Camera and much more. As of now there is only Wi-Fi only model that comes with MIMO WiFi, giving you web browsing speeds up to 4 times faster than normal Wi-Fi.

Starting 13th November, Google Nexus 10 will be available via Google Play in US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan. The Google Nexus 10 16GB version will be available for $399 and the 32GB version will retail at $499.

The last but not the least, the 3G Google Nexus 7 32GB. Google announced an upgraded Nexus 7 launched earlier this year. Google Nexus 7 in 8 GB has now been scrapped and the 16GB version has got $199 pricing. Google announced Google Nexus 7 with more storage, 32GB version ($249) and a 3G version that too comes with 32Gb storage only ($299).

Just like other Nexus devices, this too will be made available starting November 13th via Google Play US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and Canada.

As per some reports online, Google is expected to announce the same Nexus tablets soon in India but there is no one to confirm the same.
