Idea Cellular became the oldest telecom operator of Punjab after acquiring the Spice Telecom. Being an oldest operator, Idea has the best coverage in the state. Idea offers as many as 10 7 GPRS Packs for its customers in Punjab telecom circle. Starting at just Rs. 9 5 and having a validity of a day, it offer 60 50 MB Data.

Also there are Internet Plans offering up to 1GB/2GB Data with 4 weeks validity. Also there is a GPRS Pack for medium internet users priced at Rs. 60 that offers 500 MB Data for 4 Weeks. Idea do not have any Unlimited GPRS Pack in Punjab, you can check Videocon or Aircel for Unlimited Data in Punjab.

Update – September, 2013 – Idea Punjab has revised its Data Packs and now offers 10 GPRS/DATA Packs for its customers. The new Packs introduced are Rs. 199 offering Unlimited GPRS with 2GB Fair Usage Policy, Rs. 9 & Rs. 19 Paper Vouchers offering 60 MB & 125 MB Data respectively.
