Earlier this month, we had reported that few more telecom operators apart from Reliance will soon board the Delhi’s Airport Metro offering the vital Mobile connectivity on its network of 23 Kms. And today, Idea has announced the availability of its signal/connectivity along with its route and all its stations. With this Idea has become the first Guest operator to offer continuous connectivity on Delhi Airport Express.

Delhi Airport Express connects the Indira Gandhi International Airport with the rest of the city. The Direct Line runs from New Delhi Railway Station to IGI Airport & have 6 stations on the route – NDLS Station, Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Aero City, Airport and Sec 21 Dwarka. It takes about 18-20 minutes for the whole run one way. Till now only Reliance was offering Mobile Services in Delhi Airport Metro.

With the installation of BTS sites at all the stations, Idea cellular has ensured that commuters enjoy flawless network connectivity in this stretch also.
