Huawei Ascend P1 now available in India for Rs. 12,490, to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S2 Plus

Announced way back in January, 2012 at CES, the Huawei Ascend P1 is finally in India at a very decent price tag of Rs. 12,490. Huawei Ascend P1’s LTE cousin is already available in India with Airtel 4G but this 3G version took very long time to arrive here.

Talking about its specs, we compared it with the already available Galaxy smartphone in the country, the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus and found Huawei Ascend a really good competitor. Samsung’s Galaxy S2 Plus is available for almost double price than Ascend P1 and has near same features. Do check out the comparison on this page.

Reminding you of specs, the Huawei Ascend P1 comes with 4.3 Inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 8MP Primary camera with dual LED Flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, FM Radio, 1GB RAM, 4 GB Internal Memory, microSD card support up to 64GB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0 and 1670mAh battery.

Just to conclude, Specs wise it will surely give a tough fight to Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus but on price front, it will be competing with newly launched Sony’s Xperia M and another Samsung’s device, the Galaxy S Advance which is available for Rs. 12500 these days.
