BSNL, the State Owned Telecom Operator has brought quite a few changes in the tariif being offered in Tamil Nadu Circle. They have launched a Promotional Offer for GSM based Fixed Wireless Phone, Revised a SMS Plan and merged all Anant & Wonder Plans. Firstly, they have introduced a Promotional Offer for GSM based Fixed Wireless Phonefor its prepaid as well as postpaid customers. Under this offer, BSNL Fixed Wireless Phone is available for its prepaid customers at Rs. 1450. Also, the sim would come free of cost with this. You can choose FRC option as per your requirement from the available GL-1, 1P/SEC & ALL@49 Plans only. Also, you would get monthly free talktime for local & national BSNL calls worth Rs. 150. The validity of the FRC chosen by you would be 365 days.
Postpaid customers can also take benefit of this offer by purchasing the Phone and choosing the plan as per the choice. While activating the connection, the following relevant free talk time & conditions are applicable:
- The existing freebies as per the plan chosen are allowed.
- Additionally, FREE Talk time of Rs.150/- per month for 12 months is allowed for all new postpaid
- connections bundled with BSNL-FWP only.
- The above additional FREE talk time is not applicable while on roaming.
- All other conditions for new post paid connection remain the same.

Next, BSNL Tamil Nadu has revised the SMS Pack priced at Rs. 53. Tough there has been no change in price of the SMS Pack, validity of the same has been increased from 30 days to 60 days now. Also, the number of free SMS per month remains the same at 10,000.
The third change that BSNL Tamil Nadu has brought is that it has now merged all Anant Plans with Saral Anant-I and All Wonder Plans with Wonder Plus. For more infromation regarding the same, click here
