To compete with Private Telecom Operators offering 3G Service, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has dedicated to revise its existing 3G packs offering more data than its competitors and introduce a new 3G Pack offering even more choice to its customers. Since the last few days we have seen tariffs wars in 3G which has now lead reduction in the price of 1GB data to about Rs. 250.

Almost all private operators are now offering 1GB 3G Data for Rs. 250 and 2GB 3G Data for Rs. 450 but BSNL would now be offering 1250MB & 2500MB 3G Data in Rs. 250 and Rs. 450 respectively.

Also a new Plan priced at Rs. 151 has been launched for Prepaid customers only offering 1000MB 3G Data for 7 days only. The other existing packs like Rs. 25 pack that used to offer 50MBdata for 3 days would now offer 100MB data. Similarly Rs. 50 & Rs. 100 3G Data packs too have been revised.

Further, The existing STV of Rs.10 and Rs.200 will be withdrawn and the additional usage charges beyond free data usage limit for 2G and 3G prepaid data plan/STVs and data usage charges for prepaid voice plans revised from 04p/10kb to 02p/10kb.
