After launching Extra Data Offer for Xiaomi smartphone users, Reliance Jio has today tied with Asus offering Extra Data on every purchase of the Asus smartphone. Earlier this month, Reliance Jio had introduced a similar offer for Xiaomi users offering up to 30 GB data on every eligible Xiaomi device.
Unlike Xiaomi, Asus smartphone users are bucketed in 3 categories depending upon the device and the eligible benefits in form Extra Data also differ for each category of user.
In Category 1, Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone Max, Zenfone Live, Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE, Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE and Zenfone Go 5.5 LTE users would get 3GB data extra with every recharge of Rs. 309 and more.
In Category 2, Zenfone 2, Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5, Zenfone 3S Max, Zenfone 3 Laser, Zenfone 3 Max 5.2 and Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 users can avail extra data of 5 GB with every recharge of Rs. 309 and more.
And in Category 3, Asus has kept Zenfone Zoom, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 5.2 and Zenfone 3 5.5 users offering 10 GB extra data with every recharge of Rs. 309 and more.
The Extra Data Offer is limited to 10 recharges till 31st March, 2018 only. Even though we have received official statement today itself but as per the T&C page, the offer is available from 16th June, 2017 and is open till 31st March, 2018.
Unlike Xiaomi, only devices purchased on or after 16th June, 2017 are eligible for data offer and existing Asus users won’t to able to avail these benefits.

How to avail the Asus Jio Extra Data Offer?
- Upon recharging with Rs. 309 or more, each Asus smartphone user are discussed above would be eligible for Extra Data Voucher which would be credited to the account of eligible subscriber within 48 hours of recharge.
- The eligible Asus smartphone user will have to download the MyJio Application on their applicable eligible device and follow the steps specified : Open My Jio App -> My Vouchers -> View Voucher -> Recharge my number -> Confirm Recharge-> Successful Recharge Notification
- Thereafter, the applicable Additional Data Vouchers shall reflect under the My Plans section.
