Airtel had last year (in July 2016) launched Happy Hours Offer for its prepaid customers in India. Under the offer, Airtel was giving back 50% data that a prepaid user would consumer during night hours i.e. if a user consume 100 MB data during night, he/she will get 50 MB data back. But now Airtel has re-launched the same offer i.e. Happy Hours with 100% Extra Data on all data packs.

The Airtel Happy Hours offer is open from 14th May, 2017 and is available on all mass market data packs of Airtel. For example, if a user subscribes to a data pack of 2 GB with 28 day validity, such subscriber shall enjoy an additional 2GB data or total 4GB data for the same 28 day duration.

However, Extra Free Data can only be consumed during Night Hours – 3 AM to 5 AM. Interestingly, Reliance Jio was offering Unlimited Free Data during night but in the recent offers like Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan, Reliance Jo withdrew such freebies (no night Unlimited Data) and this offer by Airtel might interest some of the users who want night data as well.

Coming back to Happy Hours Offer, not only this offer is applicable on standalone Data Packs, a user would get Extra Data on Unlimited Calling Packs as well which offer Unlimited Local & STD calls along with some data.
