Under its ambitious project started in November 2015, Project Leap which aims to improve Network Coverage across India, Bharti Airtel has today announced deploying of Dual Carrier Technology in Andhra Pradesh & Telengana circle. Airtel had won 20 Mhz spectrum of 4G 2300 Mhz spectrum band in last concluded spectrum auctions and today it announced the clubbing of both fresh 20 Mhz in 2300 Mhz and existing 1800 Mhz LTE spectrum to offer upgraded 4G LTE services.
Bharti Airtel’s was till now offering 4G LTE services using 1800 Mhz spectrum band in Andhra Pradesh & Telengana circle. In case, you have still not upgraded your old SIM to 4G SIM, you can visit any Airtel Store near you and get a 4G SIM, airtel is also offering Free Data with every SIM upgrade.You can also order a 4G SIM online at airtel’s website, the SIM will be delivered at your home free of cost.
Airtel started deploying Carrier Aggregation Technology with Mumbai and further expanded to other circles and now all major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai are already using 4G on this technology only. Carrier Aggregation in LTE has capacity to offer speeds of up to 135 Mbps and the same is claimed by Airtel as well.
Bharti Airtel offers more than 20 Data Special Tariff Vouchers for its customers in Andhra Pradesh & Telengana circle. Starting with Rs. 19 which offer 80 MB 4G/3G Data with a validity of 2 days, there are vouchers ranging till Rs. 1495 and offering 30 GB 4G/3G Data.
