Bharti Airtel has finally decided to revise its 3G Data Packs for its customers across India. We have recently seen some 3G tariff some revision from Aircel, BSNL & MTNL which might have forced Airtel to do the same. As per the revised tariffs, 1GB 3G Data would now cost Rs. 250 only.

For prepaid customers, 3G Packs now start from Rs. 45 giving 150 MB Data for 7 days. For postpaid customers, Rs. 100 per month plan is a starting point offering 300 MB Data. The rest of the plans are same for the both – Rs. 250 for 1GB Data, Rs. 450 for 2GB Data & Rs. 1500 for 10GB Data.

Along with these revised tariffs, the Data browsing charges for NON 3G Pack users has been reduced to 3p/10kb from 10p/10kb now. All these above mentioned can be used on Mobile as well as Dongles.

Airtel has too introduced SmartByte Pack that offer additional Data in case you consume all your limit with validity still left. SamrtByte 3G Airtel Packs starts from Rs. 80 offering 200MB 3G Data within leftover validity of the existing pack. SmartBytes is available for Postpaid customers as of now.

In case, you are in a state where Aircel 3G is present try their packs as they are still cheap. Aircel offer 1GB 3G Data at Rs. 197 and for Rs. 997, you can get 10GB 3G Data at 7.2 Mbps speed. You can have a look at all their 3G Packs here.

Also MTNL & BSNL has better plans than Airtel, at least for me. MTNL has better speed as well, i have personally tried it. MTNL offer 15GB 3G Data in Rs. 1200 and Unlimited for Rs. 1650. BSNL too have interesting Plans, you can get 10GB in Rs. 1099 and for Rs. 1500 it offers 15GB Data.
