BSNL launches ISD Offer & Revises Voice SMS charges for CDMA Subscribers

State owned largest Telecom PSU BSNL has announced new Special Tariff Voucher for its customers in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu & Chennai circles. The new Special Tariff Voucher reduces the ISD Calling Rates to UAE and Saudi Arabia and is applicable for both 2G as well as 3G BSNL subscribers. The new STV is priced at around Rs. 25 (depending on the circle) & offers calls to Saudi Arabia and UAE at just 13p/sec and SMS to these countries at Rs. 2.50 per SMS and comes with validity of 30 days.Also you can get the benefit of the reduced ISD International SMS rate while in roaming on BSNL Network as well.

For Postpaid Customers, it is available at monthly rental of Rs. 23. This is a promo STV and will come into effect from 16.05.201 only.

BSNL also revised its Voice SMS charges for the CDMA Customers. Now for Sending or Forwarding Voice SMS from a BSNL CDMA mobile/WLL shall cost 75p/Min for Local, STD and National roaming. Earlier it was as per voice call rate of the CDMA tariff plan selected by the customer. For retrieving Voice SMS now you shall be charged 60p/Min while in Home LSA and National Roaming. This would also come in to effect from 16.05.2011 only.
